Set up your full-size PTS Barricade in six steps.

For PTSB16, PTSB24, Pro, Sniper, and Breach. The Lite is a separate countertop-only model with a single barrier and folding leg.

Check the sash locks before use

Make sure all sash locks are fully engaged before use. Gently check the connection between the detachable barricade and base barricade. If the joint still has play with every lock fully engaged, contact PTS Barricade for help before adjusting the hardware.

1. Unpack your barricade

Remove the packing material and take out the base barricade and detachable barricade.

2. Release the folding leg

Release the folding leg
Separate the Velcro fasteners to release the folding leg.

3. Position and lock the base

Position the leg and secure the sash lock
Rotate the leg into position, then turn the sash-lock handle clockwise to secure it.

4. Attach the detachable barricade

Align the detachable barricade above the base center guide
Align the detachable barricade (upper piece) with the base barricade (lower piece), then slide it vertically along the center guide.

5. Adjust the height

Pull the dowel-lock knob to adjust the panel up or down
Pull the dowel-lock knob while raising or lowering the detachable section; release it at the desired adjustment slot.

6. Confirm your setup

Check the adjusted panel and folding stand
Adjusting the height changes the size and shape of the openings. Check the connections and fully engage the sash locks before use.

Countertop use and transport

Remove the detachable barricade to use the base barricade independently on a countertop. Separate the two parts and fold the stand for transport.
